What We Do
Every organization must develop a strategic plan for executing on their critical list of projects, initiatives, strategies, and business objectives. To accomplish these, human capital is required. An important question in this process is, will these requirements be best served with the reassignment of existing employees, adding contractors and/or 1099’s or a well calculated combination? Perhaps outsourcing a business process or application development project is more appropriate? With access to the right information, the right decision, at the right time a more informed decision can be made.
Unfortunately for many organizations, knowledge capital is not centrally available and organizations use different processes and suppliers. Therefore, it is difficult for that organization to understand what is currently spent on human capital, much less how much should be paid. With the expectation to “do more with less,” an organization would be better served to utilize a single platform to consolidate contingent labor, direct hire and project spending, as well as to facilitate the acquisition process.
The dotStaff™ Vendor Management System provides a single platform for managing an entire workforce acquisition process, and enables the development and execution of integrated workforce management strategies, such as:
- What is the right mix of contingent vs. direct hires?
- Should I bring in contractors or outsource the project?
- How can we best spend our fixed budget?
- What is the best way to engage our retiree population?
- Which suppliers give us the best service?
The dotStaff™ VMS incorporates the entire workforce acquisition process, “from req to check”, in a user-friendly web based application that increases efficiency, reduces cost, and drives program compliance.
dotStaff’s configurable and flexible vendor management application can map to a variety of business models, thus allowing for implementation to a program that meets set and specific needs. A client may use a third party Managed Service Provider (MSP) to manage the contingent workforce program or may elect to manage the application using an internal team.
