The dotStaff™ Vendor Management System is a complete solution for talent acquisition, whether on a temporary or long-term basis, or by outsourcing projects or business processes (such as a call center) to a third party provider.


Open positions are documented in a job posting which is submitted to your supply base. With our industry-leading parsing technology, suppliers are provided with a detailed description of the skills, background and qualifications necessary, and the dotStaff™ VMS application will automatically present qualified candidates to the recruiter.


The job posting includes a selectable flag to indicate if the position is for contractor, temp-to-perm or direct hire, and the application will calculate the appropriate fee and automatically generate an invoice.


In many talent acquisition instances, it may be more appropriate to outsource a project or business process as a Statement of Work (SOW) based project, and dotStaff™ can handle those requirements, too. Users may create a project-based requisition that includes the project details, and submits it to approved suppliers. Suppliers respond by submitting a response to the SOW, which can be reviewed by the project manager. Once selected, the supplier begins work on the project, and may be paid based on completion of milestones or deliverables, or based on submitted time sheets. For deliverables and milestones, the supplier must submit the completed item for review and approval, and only once approved by the client will it be invoiced, ensuring process compliance as well as customer satisfaction with the supplier’s work.


dotStaff™ provides a single platform for talent acquisition that allows clients to manage contract, temp to perm, direct hire and project work, but most importantly, it also tracks the data that will allow clients to determine which type of labor is the most appropriate and to optimize their use of available talent based on cost, historic usage and forecast demand.
